What can we offer?

Modern sleek panels

  • Our on-roof packages come with black solar panels that look modern and blend in with your roof. These panels sit on top of your existing tiles.
  • We also offer in-roof solar panels that sit flush with your existing tiles to look more like part of your roof. They’re easy to install and offer exceptional wind resistance and durability.

Payment plan

  • To make paying for your solar panels easier we offer a payment plan where you can spread the cost of your system over 12 months with no interest.2

Peace of mind

  • We offer a range of warranties, some up to 25 years, that come with all the products we offer so you’re protected.

Add on products

  • You’re also able to purchase a battery storage system that connects to your solar panels. This allows you to store any excess electricity you generate to use when you need it.
  • If you’re thinking of getting an electric car or already have one, we can install a charging point on your drive that connects to your solar panels.

Solar FAQs

Who can get solar panels from us?

You don’t have to be an E.ON customer to get solar panels from us, they're available to anyone who owns their home and roof. There may be some roof types that we won’t be able to install solar panels on, such as thatched roofs. To see if we are installing in your area, fill out our contact form or give us a call.

How do solar panels work?

You’ll have an array of solar PV (photovoltaic) panels that capture the sun’s energy which is then converted into electricity for your home using an inverter. Your home will use this power as you generate it, then you’ll import any extra you need from the grid.

How much do solar panels cost?

There are a range of panels and batteries to choose from, we’ll help you find the right one for you, your home and your wallet during your home survey.

  • £4,123 for 8 solar panels (305W)
  • £6,965 for 8 solar panels and battery storage
  • £4,022 for battery retrofit

How are my solar panels installed?

We aim to install your solar system in a day, plus some time to put your scaffolding up beforehand and take it down after. This depends on the system you choose and your home but we’ll discuss all of this with you before the installation. If you’re just having a battery fitted to your existing solar system it will take less than a day.

The legal stuff

These are example figures only. Savings are based on a south facing property in central England with a 40 degree roof tilt and no shading, with an electricity consumption of 4,900 kWh. Saving assumes fitting 12 x 315W panels and a 9.6 kWh battery.

The payment plan is subject to application and credit status and you must be a UK resident aged 18 or over. Offer only available to new Solar and storage customers. After your installation you can choose an initial payment of between 25% and 75% and spread the rest of the cost over 12 months. Terms and conditions apply.

Solar Reward incentive payment is paid on the assumption that 50% of generation is exported. Solar Reward export payments apply for the first year only. Limited to the first 500 customers. Info correct at time of launch 28th March 2019. For new installs only.
